What interesting weather we have been having right? In Sydney, this past weekend, Saturday was really hot and most people were at the beach. I believe the temperature rose to 28 or 30 degrees. I went to Japanese class and my client meetings in short sleeves, a skirt and sandals. Then come Sunday it was slightly warm in the morning until it rained. It turned pretty cold again. So we had two seasons this past weekend. Saturday was summer and Sunday was winter.
This outfit post was taken on the Sunday, when the weather turned cooler. You can see below that I needed to turn to a woollen jumper. However, this weather provided the perfect opportunity for me to get my French Chic on. You all know about my Europe trip by now right?
What better way to start this outfit off than with a Classic Crew Neck Jumper. The one you can see below is by Danielle Chiel. Danielle Chiel is an Australian Luxury Knitwear company based in Woollahra, Sydney. Chiel jumpers are hand knitted using high quality Australian Wool; they are mostly made to order so you can pick from lots of colours too. The jumper I am wearing is made from such high quality wool I didn't need to wear a t-shirt underneath to keep the jumper away from my skin. You know that itchy feeling you sometimes get from blended yarn? No need to worry with these babies.
I am wearing my Danielle Chiel Navy Classic Crew with my new Lack of Color hat, Seed Heritage white skirt, white belt and Topshop ballet flats. (More on Lack of Color soon by the way). I have used the black hat band and black shoes to tie my whole look together. I can't wait to wear something similar in Paris when I go. Although I think I will switch to a cotton and silk knit for the Parisian weather.
