Trend 7: Crop it Like it's Hot
I had to think long and hard about this trend and how I was going to put an outfit together that I felt comfortable in. The crop top started to become popular during the shows this year and we'll see it cement it's place as a huge Trend in 2014. There has been a lot of discussion on making the crop top age appropriate, especially since we saw photos of Anna Dello Russo at the Christian Dior show at Paris Fashion Week rocking a crop top. Personally I feel that bare midriffs should be left to younger people - I don't even feel comfortable showing mine. But Anna does look fabulous in her outfit.
With this in mind I'll give two options for wearing a crop top. One for those prepared to bare it all and then another more conservative option for those people like me. Check out my photos below; the dress is the white dress I decided on in my An Evening of Burberry Beauty post.
What do you think of this trend? Would you wear it? Which camp are you in? The bare it all camp or are you more conservative?

The easiest way to wear a crop top when you'd rather cover up your midriff is to wear a dress under the top!
